Home, sweet, home.....

Kat and I had a marvelous ride home today from the Midwest Meetup. Her riding skills get better every time she gets on her bike. Got home just in time to watch the last quarter of the Chiefs' come from behind victory over the Saints (sorry, Cliff). Anyway, the Meetup was a smashing success. Had perfect weather, ate too much, drank almost too much, and got to sit around and BS with some of our favorite people on the planet. Too bad more people couldn't have made it. Small but very fun crowd in Osage Beach. Many thanks to Bryan for setting up the hotel for us to stay at. Very nice place with great scenery. Thanks again to the Coutures for their wonderful generosity (they brought Gulf shrimp for us all to pig out on). Love you two. Stayners brought nice stuff as well. Along with the brats, sausages, side dishes and fixins we had a wide variety of wonderful beers and spirits. Great, great time. Just what the doctor ordered for us, for sure. We did have a couple of newbies show up which is always nice. Hope we didn't scare you new ones off. Lovely but wet day (at least for those of us in the front of the boat) out on the lake tour. Have to say that all of us there were just a wee bit surprised that Conrad didn't show up as he is prone to do. The betting line was about 75% that he would be there. Oh well. Good debate surrounding the location for next year's M&G as well. And, we got a sorta firm commitment for where the Toad Choker will be come April. I'll let Will fill you guys in on when and where that is. Just wanted to check in to let everybody know we made it home safe and sound. Honestly, people, try to get to some of these events. Great times for sure.

Good to hear you are home safe

I am most sure you all had fun.
I hope you can post some pics.
So I can see the rest of the bunch.

Great to see you guys

It is always great to see you guys. Next time I will put my helmet down before I get near Kat. I really hope your nose doesn't hurt yet. :)

ATGATT Because walking away in disgust is better than riding away in an ambulance!

Today is the oldest you've ever been, yet the youngest you will ever be, so enjoy this day while it lasts.

Our lawyer says....

we have a great case against you. Kat's x-rays clearly show the imprint of your easily identifiable helmet on the bridge of her nose. Now all we have to do is decide which one of the Stayner's Victorys we want to settle for, hmmm? Just kidding. Next time though........
