Hi All,
Hoping to head out next week and leave the sunny (hot) Okanagan for Drumheller Alberta. I'm planning to head East on Hwy 6 to Nakusp then through the Kootenays - stop overnight somewhere around 500km from home and continue the next day to Calgary via the Crowsnest Pass.
My destination is the Tyrell Museum at Drumheller and take in those old "Dino" bones in one the best dinosaur museums in the world. Then back to Calgary for the night and next morning get behind that endless line of motorhomes and campers on the Trans Canada Hwy and deadhead it direct to home the same day.
Should be an interesting ride.
Ride safe.
Dave
Anyone interested in second ride this summer? Suggestions for meeting location?
My brother and I will hit the road in about 30 minutes. No rush no worries just a nice easy two day bike ride. Hope we see some of the "gang on the way.

4 wheels move the body - 2 wheels move the soul.

Although we had one non- V Star (my brother was in town, what are ya gonna do) we had a great visit. Turns out the Golden Nugget Pub burnt down a while ago but the Brown Bridge Pub more than filled the bill. Crackerjack, Drog and RodS accompanied by his GF Tracey and brother had a great visit chatting about bikes, rides and good times. We all road out 5a which winds its way past wonderfully blue/green lakes from Princeton to the junction where Drog peeled off and headed to the Okanagan the rest of us rolled down the Coquihalla toward the lower mainland and home. The weather was incredible, the scenery spectacular and the comraderie the best. We are all looking forward to doing it again and watching it grow.

RodS, Drog, RodS's brother Steve and Crackerjack met in Princeton, BC for lunch, great conversation and a great ride. It was nice to put faces to user names and have a good time getting to know fellow riders. Plans for another one were discussed as well.

Well boys and girls, the BC Chapter meet and greet is 3 weeks away, who is coming. Also thoughts of where the lower mainland group will be meeting to ride out would be good as well. Meeting place will be the Golden Nugget Pub in Princeton around noon, give or take.

May 8th.
A chance to ride the west coast circle route to Port Renfrew and out to Hwy 1 through Lake Cowichan.
I rode it three times last year and it is a great road. Most riders don't know it is there and spend all their time riding Hwy 1.
Anyone interested in possible meet and greet this summer? If so, please advise where you live so we can choose a central meeting location.
Just added my new Bat Wing from Memphis Shades and painted to match. I took Friday and Monday off and going for a 4 days ride.
