Yamaha 1300 Tourer - The Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

This is my second bike; both Yamaha's. My first bike was a 2006 V Star 1100 Silverado. Nice bike, but nothing compared to my 1300 Tourer. I decided on this bike for (1) fuel injection, (2) (consealed) liquid cooled, (3) 1300 cc engine and (4) belt drive. Now that I have 650 trouble-free miles on the odometer, I am here to say this bike is AWESOME. Even changing the oil is easy given the location of the drain plug and easy access to the spin off filter. The drive line is quiet, smooth and responsive. The center of gravity is low. Stability (with or without 2-up) is great. The bike handles bumps, expansion joints, etc with ease. Power is more than adequate - I would compare it to a BMW 335i, not an Chevy Aveo and not a Porsche 911 turbo, but a well performing automobile like a BMW 335i. Overall I give this thing a solid 9. To make it a 10 (out of 10), it would need more factory chrome (although, that's why we accessorize to customize), standard 3 year warranty and quick release passenger back rest. As you can read, I am very happy with my purchase. I intend to ride this bike for a very long time. Thank you Yamaha for developing such a nice bike!!
