Hi Everyone!

For those of you looking to replace your rear tire I may have a resouce for you. After reading some posts here, I thought it best to move to a radial on the rear. If you are in the market for a new tire on your Yamaha 1300, check www.derbycycles.com. I picked mine up there for $149.99... quick shipping too!

Why do they do that?

I wish Reno's knew about that site. I just paid $230 for that tire. Why do they HAVE to screw us over on stuff like that?

I have Dunlop's on my car and love them. But the local GY dealer's 'cost' is $30 higher than I can get them online from a dealer in Arizona. I even asked the GY mgr to order the tires from the place online so I could buy from him at a lower cost (he said no way).

Why...WHY do they have to screw us on stuff like that??? It's the SAME TIRE!!!

Wish I knew...

I wish I knew... when I called Reno's the guy couldn't tell me if the tire he wanted to charge me $235 for was bias ply or a radial. On top of that most of the dealers around here want to charge you extra if you don't buy the tire from them.

I have to say,... I got a great deal on the 1300 T from Reno's, but the parts/accessories are way over the top as far as price goes. I guess that's where they "get" you. :)
