580 miles just cruising

580 miles just cruising around the mountains of eastern Oregon .

Chantilly, VA to Port Clinton OH.

Via rt 68 - about 485 by google maps, a touch over 500 by the odo. Lots of scary sky, but never caught in any serious rain, though I ducked under a bridge/service plaza a couple times! My longest motorcycle ride to date (took the short route via the Penn Tnpk coming back.... hate that road!).

560 Miles:

Yesterday. :)

Longest Ride

I rode 704 miles in one day coming back from Montana. It was all interstate highway with a 75 mph posted speed limit.

432 miles from my house to

432 miles from my house to my Mom's in Elgin, IL.

I managed...

...around 650 in one day (KC to Ooltewah, TN), but I doubt I'd want to do that again. 500 miles is enough for any one day's ride.

Moscow to brest + a bit riding

nearly 1400km
start at 5-00 am, finish near 11 pm

I am impressed!

Years ago on my last "long" ride with the MRS, I think we rode about 500 miles. Have not done that yet on the 1300.
So far you must be the Long distance KING!

Steve

it was in a 17 hour period

We did stop for 4 hours and I slept for 1 in the middle but the entire trip was a bit less than 17 hours and we traveled 1147 Kilometers or 713 Miles. It was from just east of Lloydminster Saskatchewan to just north of Nelson British Columbia. We left at 8:30 PM MDT stopped in Red Deer Alberta around 1:30 AM MDT. It was also 3 degrees Celsius, about 38 degrees Fahrenheit. We needed to stop and warm up. My right thumb was so cold it was unusable. I had to hold the fork between my forefinger and the swear finger. We met up with the other 3/5 of our party in Olds Alberta and rode together to our destination. 5 people on 4 bikes. I had only had my bike (my first bike that is) for 3 weeks when this trip started.
