What name did you give your bike?

I have had my bike for 3 months and just now came up with a name. I have the blue 1300. I am still unsure of the name but here it is..."Devil in a Blue Dress". "Devil" for short.

I named my bike Betty as in "Hello Betty" when you see a pretty girl. The shoe fits!

My last bike was a 1975

My last bike was a 1975 Honda CB550, I named her Marilyn after the 1975 Playmate of the Year, Marilyn Lange (I was three back then, and still remember the issue!)

After I sold her, and bought the Yamaha, it took me 50 miles to make the 7 mile trip home from the dealer. As I pulled up into the driveway, I thought to myself, "My little pearl."

Now the name Pearl has a number of significances....

1. The word brings the color white to mind. My bike is not. That fits my personality.
2. The Black Pearl was Captain Jack Sparrow's ship in the Pirates of the Caribbean (Both myself and my daughter Maggie are BIG fans)
3. There is a line in Stephen Lynch's song "Hermaphrodite" where he sings about his girlfriend with both male and female genitalia where he refers to her as "his little pearl".

I figure that fits my bike well, as she sure has balls.

Bike name

I named mine Candy because it is one sweet ride and also because of the candy red color :-)
