Well hello everyone.
I just bought my 1300 Vstar about 2 weeks ago today. I did not get the Tourer only cause I wanted to add the bags I wanted and the windshield I wanted as well. I am new to riding. I started with a Honda Rebel 250 for about a month. I used it to get my license as well.
I shopped and shopped. I wanted the Kawasaki Nomad but it was out of my price range. Besides it was a bit on the large size for me. The V Star was my next choice. I like the way it looks and I have always wanted a black and chrome bike. And it has plenty of power for me.
I am already at the 600 mile service. It's going in this week. $325 ouch.
I have added a sissy bar and saddle bag supports with bags as well. Also put a leather tank bib on from Mustang. Have lots more I want to do, just need to fertilize my money tree to get it producing more green.
Anyway I will be adding pictures soon.
Glad to have a place like this to visit.
Anyone in Southern California?

Chad

Hello from SoCal
Welcome...you can check out "California riders" Recent Posts Page 13. I don't know how current the CA member list is, it's been quite a while ago since anyone has posted on this subject. I hail from the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area).

How To Pages
Are there more how to's than the 5 on the left of the screen? I keep hearing about them but when I click on how to's I get taken to the home page????
Thanks,
Chad
How-To's
The how-to pages on the left of the screen are pieces that our members have put together... there is a LOT of excellent info in our forums as well as the image galleries as well. Try putting a couple key words in the search box and hopefully you'll find the info you are looking for... if not, please post a new forum topic, and I'm sure it'll get answered.
As new how-to pages are built, I will add them to the menu structure for easy access.
Thanks Chad!
