Detailed Up!

Got the detail bug yesterday, cleaned everything, frame tubes, to the dust under the seat. Maybe I am just a little too dedicated?

Nice One!

That is one nice bike.. I use a product called Dry Wash & Guard.. you can use it on paint, chrome, plastic etc and wont scratch or mark surface and gives a deep lust shine with anti dust repllent... think its an Amercian product...

New to the site based here in Ireland just got my 1300 last week and loving it.... Love the seat and engine bars.. any web sites for custome gear would be appreciated as there is nothing over here at present.

You will find a lot of info here and a great bunch of people to talk to. I am going on two years of owning mine, and the list is now getting more substantial for accessories. Any particular things that you want? We can surely direct you. Also, on Delphi Forums there is a VStar 1300 riders forum that many of us belong to as well. There are some guys who created a wiki page for the 1300. That has a lot of useful info specific to our bike.

Those bags

Thanks! They are nice and actually are roomy. They are the bags in the Star accessory catalog with the chrome fender stays. They are leather and have ABS plastic lining for shape.

That's the good thing about having a weekday as one of your days off. No one home to bug ya! You can do what you want. :-) Now I will just keep using a spray on detailer, that seems to work really well between full out cleaning!
