Yamaha 1300 Tourer - The Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

More than likely the vibration translated to sound is coming from the front brake rotors. It is not constant, depends upon how much grit the pads pick up. But the rotors do "howl" from time to time. I find the noise and slight vibration after riding in the rain, then parking the bike for a few days. I can eliminate the sound by slightly applying front brake pressure. It is a come and go thing. But perhaps more than most I find it happening more often from riding on gravel roads on almost every outting. ~ Butch
