Question on removal of pillon seat.

I want to remove my pillon seat. First question is, How is it mounted? Second question is, Will there be holes in the fender? Last Question, Is there a plug to fill the hole without putting a rack on the fender? I just want the clean fender look without doing body work. I'm too fat to go two up anyway. Unless they are under 100 lbs.

Fender cover

I bought a leather fender cover/bib from mustang for $30 to cover the holes.

Removal

Remove the drivers seat and there are two bolts to remove on the front. You should be able to lift the Pillion off and remove the brackets. There will be holes that you can either plug with bolts or try to find some rubber or plastic inserts. Otherwise you will need to visit a body shop. It may cost more than just adding a chrome rack though.

Don't take life to seriously - You are not going to survive it anyway.
