White walled tires

Hi,

I noticed that, here in Holland, there are quite a lot of Yamaha drivers, mainly Wild Stars, who have mounted white walled tires.
I like the look of it and wonder if anyone has such tires on his / hers 1300....
If so, please post a picture....
Is there any reason not to purchase such white walled tires ?

White walls

I don't like white wall tires on much of anything, but as you know it's all a matter of taste. I don't like wire spokes, studs, tassels, mudflaps either. I don't want too much non-performance bling-bling on my bike either, if it doesn't do something performance wise, or perform a function, I don't NEED it or want it. Gremlin bells are the only exception, course they provide ju-ju, which we all need from time to time. But it is what you like that's important. You want to put pink rims & green tires on your bike, go for it! There is no technical reason not to purchase white wall tires that I know of. If I were to purchase them, I wouldn't do it until time to place the ones on my bike, to save $$$. Good Luck
