Yamaha 1300 Tourer - The Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Pick up my new 08 V Star 1300 Tourer late last week. All I can say is WOW! Hadn't rode for a few years and I am extremely happy with my choice. Smooth ride, love the purr and all the accessories. Never had a fuel injected bike...love that too! Out the door for 11 grand with extended warranties with a bike that was already preped and ready to go...Ready to ride from start to finish in about 40 minutes!!! I was geeked (and I was unprepared for such swift movement...expected a day or two for prep...so had to go back home to get all my gear...drove like a bat out of hell!!!) Salesmen were very efficient. I live in Illinois and it's cooling off so don't laugh if you see that one guy left still trying to take advantage of every possible riding day very late in the season...and it's snowing! I am back in the saddle and glad to be riding again! By the way...when trying to decide on a bike, I read many of your comments on this site which without a doubt helped me make the choice so thanks to all of you.
