Flashers

That does look very good, how can one get more infor plus wiring,, do I have to ask my cousins in Finland to find out more ,,,,,lol

Hi Rob

Please do talk to your dealer and advise about the price of the housing with the hazard light switch. I don’t have a clue about how it would be wired or lit but I’d certainly love to look into having the 4-way installed on “Enterprise”.

Typically [and it’s a shame that it is this way, but it is !] Europe is always a step ahead in legislating safety related items of motorized vehicles. We should have had them years ago considering the risks to riders who may need to be seen but are less likely to be just because of a lack of profile.

You weren’t really trying to fool us … were you ; -)?

OK, I am WAY far impressed

but unless that is some factory option that we USA'ers don't get... well usually they say "this thread is worthless without pics". I say, Please tell us more. Where did you get that switch! How did you so cleanly install it in the switch housing? So many questions.
I envy those that do things like this that look OEM.

Steve

It does look too good, doesn't it... ?

Okay, okay, I have to admit, it is an OEM standard install.... :-D

I was a bit puzzled when I saw another wonderfull "how-to" ..... and I had a look at pictures of Boomers bike which made me realise that it is not a standard feature in the US.
Most likely it is because of Dutch or European legislation.

Anyway, if people really like it and would consider installing it, I have no problem asking my dealer what this part would cost...
The hazard flashers are really usefull and I have used them more than once already. Its my ass, so I will use it when I think its necessary. Better too much than once too little.

Because I can reach the switch within a second and allert the other people on the road, I think it is absolutely worth considering the installation....
I feel so much safer knowing that its there, within a couple of cm's....

Rob

In the Dutch mountains....
PS: It was a wonderfull morning and I took another picture of Nightlflight at the same location which I will post shortly....

Great depth of field.

The dappled sunlight on the grass, Napoleanesque planted treeline
to shade the weary foot soldiers relentless march.

re: emergency flashers

I'll first agree with b2engr that it's a very cool picture. I'll add to that.... the emergency flashers are excellent. Nice job.
