best place to buy forward controls?

I've found a set thru bikercom.com for USD$275, and was wondering a couple of things.

First, has anyone dealt with them before, or can otherwise offer any info on how reputable etc they are?

Second, while their price is the best I've found yet, does anyone know a good dealer who can do better? They need to be able to ship to Australia.

Regarding the controls at bikercom.com, I was curious and contacted them to find out from Angie at their store that they ship daily to Austrailia via UPS, also they're providing free shipping thru November. I'm not sure if those are the ones you're interested in, but thought I'd share the info, just in case.

I think you'd need to make a choice. The forward controls are positioned exactly where the lower part of the engine bars would be for every model (of either) that I've seen.

If not for stupidity on the part of the local couriers, I'd have had the controls today - only four days after placing the order! Not bad for something coming from Spain. My wife was out when the courier came, so they left a note to collect it at my local post office. However, rather than taking it to the post office today, they took it back to their depot 80km away, and will drop it off on Monday morning. How stupid is that??? Why not just drop off any parcels while they're still here in town, at the end of the run, rather than double-handling everything so inefficiently? Very annoying!

So anyway...if you're after any bits for your bike, give the guys at Bikercom.com a go.

I didn't think I was going

I didn't think I was going to find them for a better price anywhere else, so I've ordered a set at USD$275 (AUD$423 - damn the financial crisis and the hopeless Aussie dollar!), which still works out at $300-$400 cheaper than the exact same product from local distributors. If they ship as often as you say, and it doesn't take too long in transit, I should have them here and fitted by some time next week! :-)

Might want to check these out too. Looks like they just relocate the stock foot controls 3" further forward.

I saw those ones in my searching, but don't want to just relocate the boards - I want them gone! :-)

Thanks tho, someone else who reads this may still want just that product for themselves.
