Ride the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway....

I'm planning on being at the Dragon early Nov. 9th. Are any East Tn., S.w.VA. or Western N.C. riders interested in joinning me? I plan on riding the Cherohala as well. In my opinion it is the better ride. E-mil me or reply to this post. We can try and cordinate a time and a place to meet up. I live in Abingdon, Va. just of of I-81 north of Bristol Tn. I'll ride to Knoxville and pick up from there are any other place close by. I plan on making this a overniter and maybe more. Ride safe.

Dragon & Cherohala

Hi Chuck.

I'm jealous! What great country you've got right there in your back yard. We were fortunate to have enjoyed a week riding all throughout that awesome area of NC/TN/GA in June, and I just HAD to go back again in Sep. While the Dragon is an absolute blast and a "must" to ride, I agree BIG-TIME that the C-Skyway is a much better and more beautiful ride....no switchbacks, but some really nice tight swooping turns. There were many semi-Dragon like roads we found while we were up there....a true biker's paradise. I'll be back there in June. In the meantime, enjoy and stay safe.
