Traded my 1300 for this.....

There are just too many 1300s on the road now, I don't feel unique or special anymore. That why I traded for this...a one-of-a-kind model that is unlikely to ever be repeated. It's surprisingly smooth and powerful, plus, it really seems to bring great joy into the lives of everyone that sees it, hence all the extremely gleeful laughter. Parts may be hard to find but it seems so well constructed that I don't think it'll be an issue.

Try to control your jealously please, let's all be grown-ups here.

Hey, anything on 2 wheels is still better than 4. Ride on!

Usually (hey, even I have seen some fine examples otherwise.) you want to remove the helmet from your "glamour" shots!

After seeing this "vision of beauty" , I think I am going to see how much a chrome front fender for my 1300 T will set me back !

Building a multi-media entertainment system for it

Using modern technology (duct tape, chicken-wire and an abandoned milk crate) I am piecing together a cb/fm/cd/mp3/cassette/blu-ray system with a 6-inch screen and simulated surround-sound. It's gonna be awesome!!

RollsCanardly

Looks like a early 80's RollsCanardly to me...........rolls down one hill and canardly get up the next. lol jdadoug It aint never easy!

Wow!

How much cash on top of the 1300 did the seller want? Hopefully you didn't have to break the piggy bank. You should make up the difference in gas mileage. Shouldn't take more than 5 or 6 decades.

Hi David

Let me give a boost to your state pride - the guy who crafted this beauty is an Oklahoma native! Who woulda thunk that Oklahoma was such a wellspring of creativity.

Why am I not shocked?

Definitely looks like Oklahoma engineering... One or two of those parts were probably part of the land run. Boy do I feel proud!

Well I gotta ask...

Does your Wife know you used the mailbox on the handlebars?

I'll give you points for the "easy-wash seat covers". I bet you don't even need Woolite.

How come you didn't get John Deere Green?

Hi Bill

I think that I'm more of a Cub Cadet man so I'll probably repaint in that color scheme after Christmas.

Tad bit

I think you may have been just a tad bit on the impulsive side. But on the other hand it does have the seat and handlebar issues handled quite nicely. I carry no grudges, if i see you on the byways of America I will still wave.

... and it's got luggage handling both fore and aft! I'm surprised there aren't more of these on the road.

Superbike

bet it handles a treat.

Good deal!

I think you made a great deal. Looks like the handlebars have plenty of pullback!
