Just Northwest of Ft. Worth
I live in Haslet which is about 10 miles NW of Ft. Worth. I've put 6500 miles on the 1300 since June.
Waco Area
I live in the small town of Mexia, which is about 40 mi. East of Waco. I have seen 1 other 1300 in my town.
Dallas
I am in Garland which is just northeast of Dallas. There are quite a few others in the immediate area - Fate, Rockwall, Mesquite, Ft Worth, etc. I am always up for a ride. I think the chapter idea is a good one. Texas would need to have more than one chapter due to the size. We could have a DFW chapter, a Hill Country Chapter, an East Texas chapter, Houston metro chapter, Coast chapter, and a West Texas chapter.

What part of Texas do you live in? I hope there's a few nice weekends to ride in the next month. Would be nice to meet a few more riders in Texas. I have a buddy of mine that lives in Wylie just east of Dallas. He has a Silverado. Tried to talk him into the 1300.

What do you think about the idea of the local chapters? I think boomersooner had a great idea. It would be nice to meet everybody in Texas and set up rides within the State. I have been all over it in a vehicle but would love to do it on a bike. Maybe meet every few months or quarterly for a weekend ride?
