J&M JMCB-2003 CB handlebar-mounted, motorcycle audio system

Has anyone installed one of the J&M JMCB-2003 CB handlebar-mounted, motorcycle audio system on a 1300 Tourer yet. I have an opportunity to get one at but I am unsure where or how to relocate the mirror. The J&M website shows a bracket for Yamaha cruisers, they show it installed on the handle bars using the existing mirror mount, they show the mirror behind it but they do not show or say how the mirror is remounted.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I've had that radio on my ST1100 for about 4 years until I bought the VSTAR1300 a few months ago. It's an excellent set up, really easy to install, simple to use. And the feature that I use the most is I have my XM radio plugged into it.
The bracket to mount it to the Star does indeed mount it to the left mirror mount. There is another tab that extends behind the radio that the mirror will bolt into. The bracket kit comes with the bracket, screws to mount the unit to the bracket, one hex head bolt with washer to mount the bracket to the mirror perch, and a nut and washer to hold the mirror to the braket.

That is what I had hoped,

That is what I had hoped, and from looking at the bracket, that is the way it should ork but they did not mention anything on their website so I thank you greatly for this.
