A thumbs up to Trenavd aka "Dale". He made me a good deal on a very slightly used Mustang seat for Redd. The driver's seat, backrest, and passenger pillion LOOK really nice. They have more decorative stitching than the OEM seat. The pillion looks wider, a little thicker, and with a hard press of the hand - firmer. Only 50degrees/overcast/rainy in Southern Indiana today. I have not rode in about ten days now.
I think the seat(s) will make a big difference in riding comfort come next spring or dare I hope for another "Indian summer". So far resisting to put Redd away for winter.

Mustang installed

Put the seat(s) on this afternoon. Temps High 50's (F). Rode short ten mile-ish.
First impressions good. No one ever mentions but the backrest really takes a lot of weight off of your arms during acceleration. I always hold myself upright with my grip on the bars but with the backrest all the force is distributed in your butt/back. Its almost like dare I say "driving".
The Mustang seat sits me in a more stock position fore/aft than the Ultimate seat I had a chance to try in Arkansas. It does seem slightly lower though not by much. And as all have said firmer (more firm?)
