Anyone know of a product that keeps fog from building up on a motorcycle windshield? I had fog build up on a windshield while traveling to work one day and had to really stretch my neck to see over the windshield. It was still dark on my way to work, thus creating a bad situation.

Dryer sheets for anti-fogging
For the economy-minded, I've also heard that wiping your windshield with a Bounce brand dryer sheet gives it anti-fogging properties. I haven't tried it yet.
Anyone know.....
Anyone know where I can find this Plexus product? I'll skip the lemon pledge idea. I have Protect All that I use on everything on my bike and really like the stuff, but it does not prevent fog from forming on the windshield. Thanks for the warnings about rain x too.

Most bike shops
Most bike shops carry Plexus.

Dave's not here man! Here are some links. Around here, most dealers have some variety of this stuff, you might begin checking with your locals. Another option is to enter it in your search engine.
So many are touting the Lemon Pledge, so I don't know if it will hurt your shield or paint. I was just going by what S. C.Johnson (the manufacturer) said. I guess that's why I am labeled an obtuse lone wolf.

Plexus
Hi Dave.
Lots of places sell Plexus, including motorcycle dealerships. It's an exceptional product. Here's ones of the many online sites that offers it:

I pledge to use Pledge
I've been using Pledge to polish my bike since day one.
Hasn't let me down!
My Bike Smells Like Lemons
After reading all the glowing reviews for Pledge, I went out and bought a can. All the reviews were true. I ended up cleaning the whole bike with Lemon Pledge and it looks as good or better than any other product I have ever tried.
210 plastic cleaner/Polish
210 plastic cleaner/Polish sumner laboratories inc works great I get it from a friend but it is avalable on the internet.
Lemon Pledge
Just got off the phone with S. C. Johnson 1-800, product questions.
Pledge has not been tested on acrylic or Plexiglas material. It is not recommended for the painted exterior surfaces of automobiles (so from that I infer that it is not good for a bike's finish also.) It DOES contain petroleum distillates. Which I have been told not to put on my bike's finish or windshield.
I would recommend NOT using this product due to it's not having been tested on the materials, it's containing petroleum distillates, and the chance of over spray getting on your bike's finish and messing that up. But it's your bike & your decision. I have been using a spray from O rielly's called nano wax and had pretty good results. Other than that I have only used Plexus, with okay results there too. The nano wax is a clear liquid & I use it on the painted surfaces also. I spray it on & let it sit for a minute or so & that lets it get a little tacky, then buff it in/out. Also, no matter which I have used, my windshield WILL fog up riding in humid conditions with temperature changes, mostly on cool mornings when going through temperature inversions.
Good luck whatever you decide to use.

Lemon Pledge
While I also mostly use Plexus, the one who actually designs and makes some of the best Lexan panels made from Polycarbonate AR2 found in the industry uses Lemon Pledge on his personal bikes' shields and has been for years. This also goes for hundreds, possibly thousands of other riders who are doing the same. The single reason anyone would refrain from using Lemon Pledge on their shield is purely do to their unfamiliarity with it, or the fact that they like and prefer to stick with what they're presently using, nothing else.
No fogged windshields
I agree with Brajande about Lemon Pledge, and the same with Plexus. I've never yet had a single issue with fog on my shield. While my vote goes to Plexus, Lemon Pledge and All Kleer are also excellent products for windshields. But, do not use Windex. And, NEVER use RainX. Rather, use one of the above mentioned products. You'll be glad you did.

My little plug for Pledge
I have not had any problems with fog on my windshield. I use pledge to clean it, and it happens to leave a nice waxy layer that helps prevent fog from forming. It also has the added benefit that bugs do not stick to it. I had a few bugs on my windsheild after a ride in mid October, and most of the goodies came off with a simple wipe with a dry microfiber sponge. I bet the bug won't have the guts to do that again...The pledge also acts like rain-x, but is safe for plastic. It does take a little persistance to apply pledge (compared to windex), but if you keep wiping it in, it completely dissappears and leaves a slick and shiny windsheild.
PS. I use pledge on my mirrors, windshield, lights, seats, saddlebags, helmets, and some on my chrome. It does not leave a shine/polish on matte finish helmets. It does a great job of cleaning, preventing dust buildup, and smells great while applying.

Hooray for Lemon Pledge
Finally someone else has sung the praises of lemon Pledge. It's almost the only thing I use on every part of my 1300T. The secret is the silicone in it. The only negative is that when washed with soap (your bike) it needs to be reapplied.
