Yamaha 1300 Tourer - The Yamaha 1300 Tourer Fansite

Picked up my new 1300 Tourer two days ago. I traded in a 650 Silverado. What a difference !!! Even after re-jet, custom airbox, and custom pipes, the 650 in no way can compare to the 1300. The jury is still out on the tall windshield, but the dealer said they would swap it out for either the short or medium one. Unfortunately, I got to ride it home yesterday in the rain. ( no chance of rain according to weather man ). I did get to find out where all the dirt and mud will hide. I also found out that the saddle bags are not waterproof. They leak at the latch on top, and in the front. Overall, I think it is an awesome motorcycle, and look forward to my first long ride.
