Passenger floorboards in the "up" position

I installed the OEM passenger floorboards to match the rider boards, and was appalled at how they looked when I flipped them up to ride alone.

I cut two pieces of 5 oz. black leather and put some padding in the middle and stitched them together with black boot lacing. I put a star concho on before I laced them.

The leather on the down side of the passenger floorboards looks really nice. You are in St. Helen? I am in Cadillac. I really am ready for the snow to go, but I figure maybe in a couple of months

Good Idea

I got the passenger floorboards on my 08, and noticed right away how ugly they are in the up position.
I think I will have to do something to spruce that up too.
